Family Trick-or-Treating Events in Durango

Sunshine Gardens to host trick-or-treating

Sunshine Gardens Senior Community will host Halloween trick-or-treating from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 31 at 25 Sunshine Court, located off 32nd Street; and at Country Home, 2518 Colorado Highway 172.

Both facilities will have safe, indoor trick-or-treating.

It’ll be a “spirited good time” for young ones at La Plata Electric Association (LPEA), as the cooperative will host a special Open House for Children on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31, 2:30-5 p.m. at both of the cooperative’s offices, 45 Stewart St., Durango (Bodo Industrial Park) and in Pagosa Springs Office at 603 S. 8th Sthttp://www.pagosadailypost.com/news/24267/LPEA_Welcomes_Little_Goblins_for_Halloween/

Trick or Treat - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Children under 10, dressed in costume will be treated at downtown Durango stores and restaurants. Durango's new Welcome Center at 8th and Main is open for questions, candy and restrooms.
